The Jacksonville Jaguars are a good football team. They proved that in 2022. By all accounts, they will be an even better team in 2023. Based on the moves they made this off-season, things could get very fun.

They have to go out there and prove it some more this year for people to believe it is a long-term success story. They have what they need to make it happen.

Now, on Saturday, the Jags are going to face the Dallas Cowboys in their first preseason game of the year. It is just an exhibition game but it is important that they get off on the right foot this year.

They need to have a good start to this game. The starters are going to play for a little bit in this game. Even if it is just a series or two, it is going to be fun to watch.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a very exciting week coming up here.

It doesn't matter if they are slow to start because they are good players who are going to have a good year but it would be nice if they just exploded onto the scene this year.

This is also going to be a great chance for the backups to make an impact. There are plenty of people playing for jobs in the match which means that the entire game is worth watching.

It also has a "grand scheme of things" feel to it as well. If the Jacksonville Jaguars go out there and obliterate the Cowboys, it would send a message. Yes, there will be the fact that it is just preseason but people will also turn their heads knowing the Jaguars are coming.

Trevor Lawrence is the key to all of this. He will play for just a little bit and that is incredibly exciting. This is going to be a big year for them all and this game will be just the start.
