How to watch Jaguars vs. Falcons in NFL Preseason Week 3 with and without cable

The Jacksonville Jaguars are preparing to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 of the 2024 NFL Preseason. Coming off consecutive wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs, they're looking to go 3-0.

Heading into the bout, head coach Doug Pederson told the local media that he wants the starters to play around two quarters. This means that Trevor Lawrence will suit up after missing the 20-7 win over the Buccaneers. Then again, it's fair to expect the coaching staff to pull him from the game earlier than other players to avoid unnecessary injury risk.

During the same exchange, Pederson ruled out quarterback C.J. Beathard, who suffered a groin injury against Tampa Bay in Week 2 of the preseason, and wide receiver Christian Kirk, who's nursing a calf injury.

It's worth noting that this will be the first away game for the Jaguars this preseason, and it will be held on Friday. The past two were on Saturday. With that in mind, here's what you need to know if you want to watch the bout.

How to watch Jaguars vs. Falcons on TV:

If you're in the Jacksonville area, you can catch the game on FOX 30, and W-FOX TV. Brian Sexton and Bucky Brooks will be the booth analysts while Brent Martineau will carry sideline duty. If you're out of the market, you can watch it on the NFL Network.

If you'd rather listen to the broadcast, you can do so on 1010 AM/92.5 FM or 99.9 Gator Country. Frank Frangie, Jeff Lageman, and Tony Boselli will serve as the announcers while Kainani Stevens reports from the sideline.

This is the sixth time the Jags will face Atlanta in the preseason dating back to 2016. They're 1-4 in those games. On a related note, there was another bout between them slated for 2020 but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They aren't much better in the regular season, amassing an all-time record of 4-5 against the Falcons.

This will be the last time the Jaguars will see action before the season opener against the Miami Dolphins. Players vying for a roster spot or looking to move up the depth chart will have a chance to make one last impression. Similarly, the coaching staff will be making evaluations ahead of roster cutdown day on August 27.
