The Jacksonville Jaguars put plenty of work in the offseason to forget last year's collapse. However, they aren't off to a great start in 2024, losing 20-17 to the Miami Dolphins in the season opener. Fortunately for the Jags, there were enough positives to make you think they can bounce back when they face the Cleveland Browns in Week 2.

Like the Jags, Cleveland is coming off a loss. In their, case they fell to the Dallas Cowboys 33-17. They couldn't get the running game going and Deshaun Watson wasn't particularly great, completing 53.3 percent of his passes for 169 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. The defense wasn't much better, struggling to slow down the Boys' passing game.

To make matters worse, the Browns have already ruled out David Njoku for the bout. The star tight end suffered an ankle injury in the opener and was placed on Injured Reserve ahead of Week 2.

The Jaguars, for their part, will be without cornerback Tyson Campbell, who sustained a hamstring injury against Miami. He's expected to miss time and is a candidate to land on IR. Similarly, left tackle Cam Robinson was listed as limited in practice Wednesday. As of this writing, it doesn't look like Robinson will sit out the contest against Cleveland, but if he does, Walker Little will be ready to go.

Currently, the Jaguars are a 3.5 favorite. This is understandable when you take into account that the game will be held at EverBank Stadium. If you want to watch it, here's how you can do it with, and without cable.

Jaguars vs. Browns game details:

Location: EverBank Stadium
Kickoff time: 1:00 p.m. ET, noon CT
Last regular season matchup: 2023 (Jaguars lost)

When the Jags played Cleveland in 2023, they were coming off a loss but still had a strong chance to make the playoffs. At the time, it looked like they had a favorable matchup. After all, Joe Flacco, who — in his own words had just left the coach — was starting in relief of Deshaun Watson.

However, the game turned out to be the beginning of Flacco's run for Comeback Player of the Year honors. He proved to be too much for Jacksonville, completing 26 of 45 passes for 311 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.

Flacco is now with the Indianapolis Colts and Watson is set to start in Week 2.
