It's almost time for the 2024 NFL Draft where the Jacksonville Jaguars hold the 17th overall pick. Draft season is one of the most fun times of the year because it's something for fans to enjoy during the offseason and it gives teams a chance to fill the holes they have on their roster.
As we prepare for this year's draft, what should fans know about the event?
When and where is the 2024 NFL Draft?
The draft is held from Thursday, April 25th to Saturday, April 27th. Round 1 of the draft, which is on Thursday night, kicks off at 8:00 PM EST. Friday night is the second and third round of the draft and begins at 7:00 PM EST and Saturday is the final four rounds and kicks off at 12:00 PM EST.
As for where the draft is being held, this year it's in Detroit, Michigan. It's jumped around to different locations over the past decade or so with last year's draft taking place in Kansas City, Missouri, the year before's in Las Vegas, Nevada, and 2021's being held in Cleveland, Ohio. It's fun having the draft in different locations because it gives each year's event a theme and uniqueness.
