2. Clelin Ferrell, 49ers defensive end

Chris Jones is among the best defensive linemen in the NFL and he could cash in free agency if he has a monster game on the biggest stage. While he would be a great addition to the Jaguars, he may not fit their budget, so they'll be better off scouting other players who could bolster their pass rusher. Chase Young got off to a hot start in 2023 after battling with injuries the past two years. However, he was relatively quiet once the 49ers traded for him.

If the Jaguars don't think they'll get enough bang for their buck if they sign Young, they should then consider another player who will be part of the San Francisco Super Bowl squad: Clelin Ferrell. Granted, he's out for the year after suffering a knee injury late in the regular season but he still made the trip. On a side note, 49ers owner Jed York covered all the expenses of the entire organization to make the trip to the game. That's a pretty sweet gesture.

Going back to Farrell, he enjoyed somewhat of a resurgence in San Francisco, posting 3.5 sacks, the second-highest figure of his career, as a rotation piece. While there were hopes he could return to the playoffs, his absence was noticeable as he excels at clogging up running games and setting the edge.

With the Jaguars, Cle Missile wouldn't have to have a feature role. He would be a rotation piece behind Josh Allen and Travon Walker. He should be fully recovered by offseason activities, making him an appealing choice to bolster Jacksonville's pass rush rotation.
