AFC South 2023 NFL Draft Steals - Indianapolis Colts: Adetomiwa Adebawore

. DT No.1. 110. . Northwestern . Adetomiwa Adebawore. player. 46

Indianapolis Colts made a lot of savvy draft choices this year. First, they took their quarterback of the future in Florida's Anthony Richardson. However, with the No.4 pick overall, Richardson is not a draft steal; it's more likely he will be the Colts' biggest draft bust.

The biggest steal of the draft came in the power-based pass-rusher Adetomiwa Adebawore. The Northwestern defensive tackle was selected with the eighth pick in the fourth round the Colts got from Atlanta.

Adebawore blew minds at the combine when he ran a 4.49 40-yard dash. In addition, he had a 97 score in athleticism, the highest among defensive tackles. With a total draft profile score of 74, he was the top-ranked defensive tackle and should have been a solid second-round pick. Watch him show out at this year's NFL Scouting Combine.

Adebawore's World-class speed for a big defensive tackle allows him to make a lot of plays pursuing from the backside. In addition, he is fantastic at driving offensive linemen back to the quarterback. His run defense skills are superb, and with great strength, he quickly sets the edge.

He was one of the players I was targeting and hoping the Jacksonville Jaguars got with one of their many fourth-round picks. But, unfortunately, he went to the Colts to threaten the Jaguars twice a year.
