Bengals vs. Jaguars final score prediction for Monday Night Football in Week 13

The Jacksonville Jaguars are still in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and their Monday Night Football matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals is considerably easier than the team would have expected entering the 2023 season. 

Joe Burrow is out for the season for Cincinnati, forcing Jake Browning into the starting lineup for the second straight game in this Monday Night Football clash. 

The Jaguars are set as nine-point favorites in this matchup, and for good reason. Jacksonville is coming off a huge win over the Houston Texans to keep the top spot in the AFC South, and the team is amongst the best in the NFL with an 8-3 record. 

Meanwhile, Browning and the Bengals mustered just 10 points in their Week 12 loss to Pittsburgh.

The UNDER on Monday Night Football has hit in 13 of 14 games this season, and I think we could see that again. 

The Bengals are going to struggle to score with Browning under center, and the Jaguars are an elite run defense – allowing just 4.0 yard per carry this season, good for ninth in the NFL. 

That’s going to make things tough on Joe Mixon, who mustered just 16 yards on eight carries against a Pittsburgh team that was daring Browning to throw the ball. 

Will Cincy clear the 10-point threshold? I’m not sold, and that could make for an easy win for the Jaguars, who are starting to find things on offense. 

Calvin Ridley has come alive in recent weeks, and the Jaguars are now in the top half of the NFL in points scored this season. 

I expect this to be a fairly easy win for Jacksonville where it also covers the nine-point spread.
