Week 11 AFC South Power Rankings team No. 3: The Indianapolis Colts (5-5)

Trevor Lawrence is right when he said the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts are right behind them. Indy is coming off a 10-6 win over the New England Patriots in Germany but you don't get points for style, so their 5-5 record would've been the same even if they had beaten them 50-0.

Granted, the Colts have a steeper hill to climb than the Texans to catch up with Jacksonville. They've already been swept while Houston beat them in Week 3. However, they've remained competitive despite losing Anthony Richardson for the season. In fact, they rank ninth in points scored and 16th in total yards in the league. As long as Gardner Minshew and the rest of the offense don't turn the ball over, they'll have a chance to keep winning games.

One thing that could aid the Colts in a potential playoff push, or at the very least make them play spoilers in the upcoming weeks is that they have a relatively easy schedule. They do face the Cincinnati Bengals and the Houston Texans but they'll also play teams like the Las Vegas Raiders, or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

All things considered, Indianapolis doesn't face a tough road but they've shown enough grit throughout the offseason to make you think that they have a chance, and that's more than what clubs like the Chicago Bears or the Arizona Cardinals can say right now.
