2. Brennan Jackson, Edge Rusher

Fortifying the pass rush doesn't seem a priority early in the draft after giving Josh Allen a massive deal. Add the presence of Travon Walker, who's expected to make yet another leap in Year 3, and the Jags should have no trouble getting after the quarterback in 2024. That said, their rotation could use a boost even after signing Trevis Gipson in free agency.

Taking UCLA's Gabriel Murphy in Rounds 4 or 5 would make sense. The same is true for Washington State's Brennan Jackson, a raw prospect with the tools to develop into a steady rotational piece. His hand usage could use refinement. Similarly, he needs to do a better job timing the snap count. However, his twitch and bust make him an intriguing Day 3 prospect.

With the Jags, Jackson could compete with sophomore Yasir Abdullah for reps in training camp and get more snaps in the regular season as he progresses.

1. Javon Baker, Receiver

Receiver is another position the Jaguars should double dip at in 2024. They have three capable starters in Zay Jones, Christian Kirk, and Gabe Davis but they don't have much depth behind them. Parker Washington could get an increased workload next season but he will most likely see playing time in the slot. The front office needs another receiver who can play outside and UCF's Javon Baker fits the bill.

Baker hardly saw any playing time at Alabama, so he transferred to Central Florida in 2022. Right off the bat, he was able to showcase his playmaking skills, hauling in 56 receptions for 796 yards with five touchdowns in his junior season. He followed that up with 52 receptions for 1,139 yards with seven scores in 2023.

Granted, Baker was inconsistent last season and needs to cut down on the drops. Having said that, he's got the athleticism and route-running skills to eventually become a starter.
