The Jacksonville Jaguars had a highly successful 2022 season. They will be counting on players such as quarterback Trevor Lawrence, wide receiver Christian Kirk and linebacker Foyesade Oluokun to once again return to the playoffs and win the AFC South for the second straight year.

On the other hand, there are a handful of players on the Jaguars roster with not nearly enough name recognition that will be also tasked with filling important roles next year. With that in mind, here are five not-so-secret weapons that will come through this upcoming season.

No. 5 Not-so-secret Jaguars weapon that will surprise in 2023: Tank Bigsby, RB

It's no secret that rookie running back Tank Bigsby has done enough over the last few months to make you think he'll have a big role in 2023. Granted, Travis Etienne will still be the primary back in the Jaguars' backfield but it will be hard to keep Bigsby on the sidelines.

Bigsby, a third-round pick in this year's draft, has shown in two preseason games that the hype he got in training camp was warranted. In fact, it would be surprising to see him below either D'Ernest Johnson or JaMycal Hasty on the depth chart come Week 1.

While Bigsby's selection raised eyebrows on Draft Day, it looks like the Jaguars found themselves a steal. Then again, everyone who watched him run at Auburn isn't likely surprised. Back in college, the Hogansville, Georgia native displayed the ability to gain yards after contact and it looks like it will carry over into the pros based on the impact he's had in the offseason.
