Foyesade Oloukun is one of the most underrated Jaguars players

Like offensive guard Brandon Scherff, linebacker Foyesade Oluokun was one of the Jaguars' key free-agent signings in 2022. A dependable starter during his four-year stint with the Atlanta Falcons, Oluokun has gotten even better in Jacksonville.

A tackling machine in Atlanta, Oluokun has picked up the pace with the Jaguars, logging over 100 tackles in back-to-back seasons. On top of that, he's registered three forced fumbles and one interception returned for a touchdown in that span.

Leaving aside his contributions on the football field, Oluokun has also become a veteran presence off of it. He was named team captain each of the past two seasons, and it wouldn't be shocking to see him get the honor again in 2024. The Jaguars certainly value his contributions and proved it when they gave him a three-year contract extension worth $30 million in the offseason.

Evan Engram is one of the most underrated Jaguars players

You may be wondering why Evan Engram is on this list even though he made the Pro Bowl in 2023. The reason is simple. You won't often hear his name in the conversation about the best tight ends in the league. A first-round pick in 2017, the former Ole Miss Rebel routinely flashed with the New York Giants but was also inconsistent at times.

In Jacksonville, though, Engram has been able to build that consistency and become one of the most reliable tight ends in the league. In his first season with the Jaguars, he set several team records. Last year, he broke some of those records. However, he doesn't get nearly as much recognition as he deserves because he plays in the same conference as Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce.

Heck, you could even make the case that Engram only made the Pro Bowl last year because Andrews suffered a season-ending injury. But regardless of how much (or little) attention he gets across the league, Engram is a playmaker, one the Jaguars are glad to have.
