No. 2 Jaguars player who must shine vs. the Saints in Week 7: Rayshawn Jenkins, S

Safety Rayshawn Jenkins was a fine player for the Los Angeles Chargers but he's taken his game to the next level with the Jags. Although he was underwhelming in his first season in Jacksonville, he became an integral piece of the secondary in 2022.

Jenkins picked up where he left off this season and his three interceptions are currently tied for the most in the league. Defensive coordinator Mike Caldwell says Jenkins is the kind of guy you want in your corner.

"It's the energy he plays with. He's a guy that is passionate about his play and you can see it on the field. He's a guy that if you're walking down the street at night, you want him with you because he's going to fight for you. And he goes out there every weekend. He's the tone-setter for us. He's the guy that brings a bunch of energy."

No. 1 Jaguars player who must shine vs. the Saints in Week 7: Calvin Ridley, WR

Wide receiver Calvin Ridley has been everything the Jaguars expected and then some. Although he's third on the team in catches, his impact goes beyond the stat sheet. He frequently draws coverage away from his teammates and gives them favorable matchups.

In Week 7, Ridley will go against the Saints, a team he faced twice a season when he was a member of the Atlanta Falcons. In six games against the Falcons, he's averaged 92.7 receiving yards. Expect the Jags to get him heavily involved Thursday.
