Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell is entering a make-or-break season in 2024

Cornerback Tyson Campbell was one of the Jaguars' few bright spots in 2021. He began the season lining up in the slot. He struggled but fared much better once he replaced former first-round pick C.J. Henderson in the boundaries. The former Georgia Bulldog finished the year strong, registering a team-best two interceptions.

Campbell was even better in 2022, logging three interceptions and 15 passes defensed. He even joined the conversation about the 10 best cornerbacks in the league. He was expected to keep improving last year but was instead held back by injuries. Now, he's entering a contract year, and not only will he have to prove that he's healthy but he'll have to do it playing in a new scheme.

Defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen will be switching to a press-heavy scheme. Campbell is better suited to play zone, so he may have trouble adjusting. The Plantation, Florida native isn't overly concerned, though. He's aware that he'll have to show out in 2024 but he'll focus on the things he can control and let the rest take care of itself.

Jaguars OT Walker Little is entering a make-or-break season in 2024

Unlike Tyson Campbell, Walker Little has never had a featured role with the Jaguars. However, he's always delivered when called upon. He started three games as a rookie and gave up just two sacks. The following year, he made six starts (including two in the playoffs) in relief of Cam Robinson and the offense didn't miss a beat.

Little started the 2023 season at left tackle while Robinson served a four-game suspension. Once again, the Texas native showed he could hold his own, giving up just one sack and five total pressures. But even after proving that he could perform at a high level, he hasn't been able to seize a starting job.

Barring an unexpected move, Litttle is set to be the swing tackle behind Robinson and Anton Harrison. This means that he won't be able to showcase his skills unless one of his fellow offensive tackles get hurt. But if he does a chance, he'll need to be ready and make the most out of it.
