The Jaguars came out of the 2024 NFL Draft with nine players. On top of that, they’ve added multiple free agents after the fact.

To make room for the newcomers, the front office will need to make a few roster cuts. It may not happen right away but the next five players could be affected.

Jaguars player No. 5 who is not safe after the draft: Walker Little, OT

Offensive tackle Walker Little has previously flashed but it doesn't look like the team's brass is sold on him. He appeared to be potential heir apparent for Cam Robinson in 2022 but that scenario came to a halt when the Jaguars gave Robinson a long-term deal.

Without a clear path to the starting job at left tackle in 2022, the coaching staff had Little compete with Jawaan Taylor on the right side. He lost and spent the season as the swing tackle. Little filled in for Robinson to start 2023 while he served a suspension but returned to the sidelines once Robinson was back in the lineup.

Even though trading or releasing Robinson would free up $20 million in space, the team's brass says they expect him to be on the roster in 2024. Add the fact that they drafted Javon Foster in the fourth fourth round and Little's days in Jacksonville could be numbered.

Little, a second-round pick, gave up just one sack and five pressures in the four games he started in relief of Robinson. The talent is certainly there, so it wouldn't be shocking if a couple teams reach out to the Jags to see if he's available.

Little has been a dependable backup the past two years, but he may be looking for the chance to start. Since he won't probably get it in Jacksonville, the front office should explore the possibility of trading him, and getting something in return instead of letting him walk next year and get nothing.
