Former Jaguars TE Dan Arnold remains surprisingly unsigned

Dan Arnold wasn't with the Jaguars last season but in 2021, it looked like he could become an integral piece of their offense. That year, he arrived via trade after the front office shipped cornerback C.J. Henderson to the Carolina Panthers. He quickly carved a niche and became one of Trevor Lawrence's most trusted targets. Unfortunately, an MCL injury cut his season short.

Heading into 2022, Arnold was projected to make a leap under head coach Doug Pederson, who's known for favoring two-tight end sets. While Jacksonville signed Evan Engram in the offseason, it was fair to think that Arnold would have a role on offense. Instead, he tumbled down the depth chart, finding himself behind Engram, Chris Manhertz, and Luke Farrell.

The Jags moved on from Arnold last year and quickly latched onto the Philadelphia Eagles. He didn't do much of note, though, and he once again hit the road in March. So far, there hasn't been demand for his services, and his 2021 flashes now look like a distant memory.

Former Jaguars WR Laquon Treadwell remains surprisingly unsigned

Like Dan Arnold, Laquon Treadwell was thrust into action because the Jaguars didn't have any other options. A former first-round pick, Treadwell spent the summer in Jacksonville and signed to the practice squad to start the season. He was eventually promoted to the active roster and made the most of his playing time, hauling in 33 receptions for a career-best 434 yards with one receiving touchdown.

Treadwell was re-signed in 2022 but wasn't able to make the cut due to the upgrades the Jaguars made in the offseason. Since he was given the boot, the former Ole Miss Rebel spent a pair of uneventful seasons with the Seattle Seahawks (2022) and the Baltimore Ravens (2023). He's been free to sign with any team he pleases since March but there have been no suitors so far.

His stint with the Jaguars is still the highlight of Treadwell's career and there's a chance that was the last time he'll ever get significant playing time.
