No. 4 former Jaguars player who remains unsigned: DJ Hayden, corner

When you think of the best Jaguars cornerbacks of the 2010s, Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye are surely the first that come to mind but D.J. Hayden was pretty productive in 2019. Granted, it was only one season but it was a good one. Up until that point of his career, the 2013 first-round pick was best remembered for having a serious accident in college and failing to live up to his draft billing as a member of the Las Vegas (then-Oakland) Raiders.

Before donning the Black and Teal, Hayden spent four seasons with the Raiders and one with the Lions. He signed a three-year deal in 2018 and got the break he had been waiting for in 2019, when injuries struck Jacksonville's cornerback room and he was pressed into a featured role.

Hayden ended up appearing in 15 games with eight starts that year. Despite the fact that he didn't register an interception, he earned lots of praise for his work in the slot, cracking Pro Football Focus' top 10 cornerback ranking and Touchdown Wire's list of the best 101 players in 2019.

However, the Texas native dealt with injuries for most of the 2020 season and became a free agent in 2021. He then spent one uneventful season with the Washington Commanders and like every other player on this list, he's currently available to be signed.
