No. 2 toughest remaining oponent on the Jaguars schedule: Cleveland Browns, Week 14

The Jaguars are entering Week 12 with a relatively clean bill of health. Return specialist Jamal Agnew is on Injured Reserve and cornerback Tyson Campbell has been dealing with a hamstring injury. But that's nothing compared to what the Cleveland Browns have had to endure this season. They lost both starting offensive tackles for the year, and Nick Chubb went down early in the season.

The straw that broke the camel's back was Deshaun Watson suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. The Browns expected Watson to return to form after a mediocre first season with them in 2022. The former Pro Bowl quarterback was beginning to hit his stride before hurting his ankle and shoulder in Week 10. But in spite of missing their starting quarterback for the year, the Browns remain in playoff contention.

Credit goes to head coach Kevin Stefanski, who's managed to keep the team afloat despite the rash of injuries they suffered. Their defense also deserves credit. The group hasn't had many injuries as their offense counterpart but they recently missed safety Rodney McLeod to a season-ending injury. Yet, they rank sixth in points allowed and first in the league in total yards.

As long as rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson and the defense avoid turning the ball over, the Browns will have a chance. Not having a quarterback may ultimately prevent Cleveland from making a deep playoff run but they will be a tough cookie to bite in the regular season.
