2. Jaguars OT Anton Harrison adjustment to playing right tackle

General manager Trent Baalke raised eyebrows when he told the media one week before the draft that left tackle Cam Robinson would be ready for training camp from a health standpoint. At the time, Baalke seemed to imply that Robinson was going to be fully recovered from a torn meniscus he suffered last year but there could potentially be something that wouldn't allow him to take the field.

It turned out that Robinson will be serving a suspension for violating the league's performance enhancing drugs policy, so he will be missing several games next season. With Robinson unable to suit up, the Jaguars will move Walker Little to left tackle.

Had Robinson not been suspended, Little would have started at right tackle in 2023 but with him slated to play on the left side, the Jaguars drafted Anton Harrison to fill the void Jawaan Taylor left when he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency.

Although Harrison mostly played left tackle at Oklahoma, the Jaguars' brass expects him to make the switch to the right side, and this will be one of the most intriguing developments to follow in the upcoming months.

After all, Harrison might need time to get acclimated to his new position. It's true that he made one start at right tackle in college but having to play there on a permanent basis will need an adjustment period. It will be interesting to see how he handles it.
