No. 2 player who stepped up vs. the Chiefs in Week 2: Andre Cisco, S

Early in the first quarter, safety Andre Cisco had a chance to get an interception off Patrick Mahomes and take it to the house. He had an open path to the end zone and not many players to take him down. However, his timing failed and jumped before he should've. The ball touched the tip of his fingers in what was one of the biggest missed opportunities in the first quarter. That said, Cisco later made up for it, intercepting a pass in the second quarter.

At one point, Cisco had to leave the field because of cramps but he was one of the Jaguars' most consistent defenders throughout the game, even if his final statline doesn't look that great (two total tackles, one interception, two passes defensed).

No. 1 player who stepped up vs. the Chiefs in Week 2: Foyesade Oluokun, LB

It's no mistake that teammates named Foyesade Oluokun a team captain for the second straight year. Although he was disappointed for the loss, he didn't point fingers and said that everyone needs to do a better job of executing. That's what you want your leaders to do, pick up the slack and the defense precisely picked up the slack throughout most of the game.

The Jags limited the Chiefs' high-powered offense to just seven points before halftime. Things went off the rails in the second half but Oluokun was seen often in close vicinity to the football. The Yale product finished the game with 11 tackles and a fumble recovery.
