No. 2 Jaguars player who didn't impress vs. the Lions: Snoop Conner, RB

Snoop Conner was a non-factor in his rookie campaign. He was an early scratch early on and only got playing time when the Jaguars traded James Robinson to the New York Jets. Then again, some players need more time than others to make the adjustment to the NFL, which is why there was hope Conner was going to make strides in Year 2. However, that hasn't been the case.

The former Ole Miss Rebel has been underwhelming. Against Dallas in the opener, he racked up seven carries for 15 yards while both Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson made the most of the opportunities. Things weren't much better for Conner in Week 2. He toted the rock five times for 18 yards. Meanwhile, Bigsby and Johnson once again had strong outings.

In fact, Bigsby might have solidified himself as RB2 behind Travis Etienne after tallying 70 yards on 13 carries in Week 2. Similarly, Johnson looks like a good bet to make the team. Now, Conner still has time to make an impression but it looks like the writing is on the wall. Unless he does something out of the ordinary against the Dolphins in the finale, he could be left out when the Jaguars trim down the roster in a couple of weeks.

In one year, the Jags have managed to revamp their running back room. If they weren't so loaded at the position, Conner would have a stronger chance to make the cut but that's not the case.
