3. Josh Allen

Josh Allen was amazing for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The entire defense played well for the Jaguars in this one. Trevor Lawrence was even quick to compliment them after the game was over. 

It was clear that they did just enough to allow the offense to get going. The defense taking a step forward is a huge key for this team as they try to take a big step. 

One of the leaders on defense on Sunday was Josh Allen. He was absolutely brilliant in this game. Without him, the defense might not look as strong as they did. 

Allen had eight tackles with Foye Oluokun for the team lead. He also had two assists. The big deal, however, is that he had three sacks in the game. He did not make things easy on the rookie QB Anthony Richardson. 

All of the young stars that the Jaguars have on defense need to step up this year but nobody is more important than Josh Allen. He had a great first game.
