2. Calvin Ridley
The Jacksonville Jaguars needed a wide receiver like Calvin Ridley.
Calvin Ridley was a big part of Trevor Lawrence’s big day. He was the best receiver on the team by far and they don’t win this game without him.
This was his Jaguars debut so that’s obviously very special for him. It is also his first NFL game since his year-long suspension. It is good to see him back and in a Jaguars uniform.
It didn’t take him long to get on the scoreboard either. He received his first TD reception with the Jaguars in the first quarter to get them on the board for the first time this year.
He had eight receptions in the game for 101 yards. He averaged 12.6 yards per reception which is obviously very good. He led the entire Jaguars receiving core in all of those categories.
The Jaguars needed a guy like Ridley. Now, everyone else on the offense slots into perfect roles with him there as WR1. Hopefully, the production continues for him.
