1. Evan Engram, tight end

The 2024 Pro Bowl's most egregious omission might've been that of tight end Evan Engram. He wasn't going to get picked over Travis Kelce. On the other hand, it was a bit odd to see him get passed over in favor of rookie Sam LaPorta.

Nothing against LaPorta but Engram is having a pretty good year, having reached the 100-catch mark in Week 17. It's only the 11th time in league history the feat has been accomplished. Also, Engram's become the Jaguars' most reliable player on offense.

Then again, it's easy to see why Sam Laporta made the Pro Bowl. He's only the fourth player, and the only rookie tight end, to have 80+ receptions, over 800 yards, and nine touchdowns in NFL history.

Odell Beckham, Ja'Marr Chase, and Michael Thomas are the other players on the illustrious and exclusive list. Still, Engram had a strong case himself.

Had Engram made the Pro Bowl, it would've been the second time in his career he was chosen. Back in 2020, he earned a designation as a member of the New York Giants, and he wasn't nearly as productive as he is right now.

That year, he caught 64 receptions for 654 yards with just one touchdown. Meanwhile, he's reeled in 104 catches for 884 years with four touchdowns this season. That should've been enough to help him earn a place in the 2024 Pro Bowl lineup.
