2. Marquise Brown, free agent

With Calvin Ridley joining the Tennessee Titans, Marquise Brown is now the best receiver available. Surprisingly, he has had a quiet free-agency period, but he's been linked to the Kansas City Chiefs. Working in his favor is that teams in need of help at receiver could soon start inquiring about the player known as Hollywood.

A second-round pick in 2019, Brown was one of Lamar Jackson's favorite targets with the Baltimore Ravens. He even had a 1,000-yard season in 2021 but was traded to the Arizona Cardinals the following year. While he can always return to the Cards, the former Oklahoma Sooner might choose a fresh start somewhere else.

Over his two-year stint in the desert, Brown's production took a dip, hauling in a combined 118 receptions for 1,283 yards with seven touchdowns in 2022-2023. Some of it was due to the team's overall dearth of talent. The fact that they lost quarterback Kyler Murray to a torn ACL for more than half of the 2023 season didn't help matters. In Jacksonville, he would join a receiver corps that includes Gabe Davis and Christian Kirk.

The trouble with signing Brown is that offensive coordinator Press Taylor may not be able to get the most out of him. At 5'9 and 180 pounds, his route-running isn't great, and he has mostly played outside throughout his career. That's where he would line up on the Jaguars' offense, as Kirk usually plays inside. Unless Taylor finds a creative way to use him, he may not be an ideal fit in Jacksonville.
