The Jacksonville Jaguars started the 2022 season 2-6 and it looked like it was going to be another disaster of a year. If that trend would have continued, people would have started to question a lot of things.

Instead, they went on a run and made it to the playoffs as the AFC South champions. They then erased a 27-point deficit in the playoffs which gave them a lot of confidence going forward.

It took the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs to take them down. As a result of this great first place season, however, means that they will have a first place schedule now.

The NFL released its schedule on Thursday night and the Jaguars have some tough matchups. These three games will present the biggest tests for them this year:

1. Week Two - Home VS Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs will provide a huge test for the Jaguars early in 2023.

The 2022 Jacksonville Jaguars season came to an end in the playoffs at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a very tough loss for them after an emotional comeback win one week prior.

Of course, as you know, the Chiefs went on to win the Super Bowl for the second time in the Patrick Mahomes era. Now, they will present a great test for the Jaguars early in this upcoming season.

Playing the Chiefs is the result of them both being AFC division champions last year. The Jaguars get a chance to play them on thier home turf and it is going to be a great test for them.

They may or may not win (Kansas City is still super elite) but they will learn more valuable lessons in every area of the game.
