No. 2 Bears player the Jaguars should trade for: Cody Whitehair, OG

The Jaguars found a fix at left guard — the weakest link in the offensive line and one of the of the team's biggest needs in the offseason — when they moved Walker Little inside. However, the solution lasted less than a game, as Little hurt his knee in Week 5 and he's now expected to miss several weeks.

With Little out for the foreseeable future, the Jags will most likely roll with veteran Tyler Shatley but they should also consider looking for outside help. Cody Whitehair could most definitely bolster the left guard position. A second-round in the 2016 draft, Whitehair has spent his whole NFL career in Chicago. He's made 112 starts and even got a Pro Bowl nod in 2018.

Although Whitehair lacks name recognition, he's low-key become a mainstay of the Bears' defense. He's had somewhat of a down season in 2023 but he could benefit from a change of scenery. The fact that he's got the ability to line up at center should make him an intriguing trade target.

In case the Jags do decide to go with Shatley at left guard, they could then plug Whitehair at center. Either way, he would be of great help on the interior offensive line. If Jacksonville were interested in him, probably a fourth (maybe a third) round pick would get a deal done, which is a fair price to pay for someone who can play multiple positions and address an immediate need.
