Before the Jacksonville Jaguars begin preparations for the playoffs, they'll need to take care of business when they face the Tennessee Titans in the season finale. A win will help them get the highest possible seed, but a loss will allow the Houston Texans to narrow down the gap between the two and potentially seize the division.
Fortunately, the Jags will be getting reinforcements in Week 18. Moreover, the weather should not be an issue based on the latest report.
The Jaguars will enjoy a perfect weather when they play the Titans
According to NFLWeather, the temperature for the Jaguars game at EverBank will be 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Not warm, but not cold either. Moreover, the chance of precipitation will be nine percent, so it almost certainly won't rain. There will be winds of 14 MPH, so both teams will have no trouble dialing up deep shots or kicking the field goal.
Heading into the game, the Jags are a 12.5-point favorite, per DraftKings Sportsbook. With the weather not being a factor, they should have no trouble covering the spread.

The weather will allow the Jaguars to light up the scoreboard vs. the Titans
The Jaguars are one of the hottest teams in the NFL ahead of the playoffs. The fact that their offense has been firing on all cylinders since the BYE has certainly played a huge role. After a sluggish start to the season, Trevor Lawrence is playing like a top-5 quarterback. Heading into the game, he has 35 total touchdowns. He will need three to set a new team record for individual touchdowns in a season. He should have no trouble pulling it off.
Of course, Lawrence has benefited from the stellar play of Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr., and Jakobi Meyer. The Jacksonville receiving trio has come through in recent weeks.
Running back Travis Etienne, for his part, should have a favorable matchup against a Tennessee defense that ranks 17th in rushing yards allowed and 28th in touchdown scores. The former Clemson Tiger is 50 rushing yards short of the career-best of 1,125 he set in 2022. Expect him to set a new personal record in Week 18.
On the other hand, the Jacksonville defense should be able to feast on a Titans offensive line that's surrendered a concerning 55 sacks. Sure, the fact that Cam Ward has held onto the football at times hasn't helped, but his protection has left much to be desired. The Jaguars will take advantage of the opportunity and will relentlessly bring the heat throughout the game.
