Bold Trevor Lawrence bet for the Jaguars game vs. the Rams
Trevor Lawrence is coming off his best stretch of the season. If that wasn't enough, No. 16 has tallied 55 yards and two touchdowns on 13 rushing attempts/scrambles.
Now, Lawrence's statline might not look impressive at first sight, but it's important to keep a couple of things in mind. For starters, he's shown notable improvement after a slow start to the season. Second, the offensive line has allowed 67 total pressures and 10 sacks the past two weeks.
Granted, the former Clemson Tiger isn't free of blame. He's missed a few reads, and there are a handful of passes he would surely want to have back. That said, he's been quietly improving as the year progressed, and he'll take another leap against the Los Angeles Rams.
In Week 7, Trevor Lawrence will complete over 70.0 percent of his passes, throw for two touchdowns, and add another one on the ground for a total of three without an interception.
Will it be tough to pull off? You bet, but that's why it's a bold prediction, and Trevor Lawrence will come through for the Jaguars.
