Since being dismissed by the Las Vegas Raiders, Jon Gruden has carved a niche on social media breaking down take. The new Jacksonville Jaguars regime wanted to make sure that the Super Bowl-winning head coach talks about them from time to time, so they sent him a care package.

Jon Gruden posted a video of his Jaguars care package unboxing. He got shoes, a Tony Boselli helmet, and a costumed "Grudog" jersey.

"I got a new box. It's my first box from an NFL team, the Jacksonville Jaguars," Gruden said on the video. "Liam Cohen, new head coach, Tony Boselli, the greatest Jaguar of all time, Hall of Famer and their new GM. James Gladstone. This is exciting. man. I have these pliers- Handyman was out here. That's not going to do it. I'm going to use this knife, Rick Grimes knife. NFL box, man, feels different."

Gruden continued, "You know, Jacksonville Jaguars, home of Maurice Jones-Drew Fred Taylor, my favorite, the C receiver in Tampa Bay, Keenan McCardell came from Jacksonville. Jimmy Smith, how about C.J. Henderson? Are you kidding me, a Jaguar jersey with Grudog on the back? Man, Wow, is that freaking awesome? The heck is this? My God, it's a helmet. It's a freaking Jaguar helmet. No. 71 (Tony Boselli). This is like a brick of gold. This is unbelievable. It's the best box. Shoes, Nike shoes, Jaguar shoes, two pairs of black goes with everything."

Below is the full clip, where he mentions several Jaguars players and shares an annecdote about Ray Perkins.

Gruden got the spotlight when he turned the then-Oakland Raiders into a contender. He even reached the Super Bowl in 2021 with them but lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In a surprising turn of events, Chucky was traded to the Buccaneers one year later and would go on to win the Super Bowl. He got the boot in 2007 but returned to the Raiders in 2018. Unfortunately, he got caught in an email scandal and was fired in 2021.

Why would Jon Gruden bring up former Jaguars bust C.J. Henderson?

Throughout the clip, you can hear Gruden giving shoutouts. But one isn't like the others. The brings mentions head coach James Gladstone, general manager James Gladstone, executive vicepresident Tony Boselli, Maurice Jones-Drew, Keenan McCardell, and Fred Taylor, But then, out of nowhere, he brought up C.J. Henderson.

Of all the players Gruden could've given a shoutout to, it's odd that he chose Henderson. After all, he had no connections to him. Maybe he scouted him ahead of the 2020 draft, but other than that, it doesn't look like the two have a relationship.

The most likely explanation is that Gruden was referring to John, not C.J., Henderson. That would be plausible because the defensive tackle suited up for the Jaguars when "Chucky" was in his NFL heyday. In fact, he acknowledged as much in the comment section of the clip.

Around the time Henderson played for the Jags, Gruden had just won the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Henderson was a first-round pick in 2002 who was a mainstay of the Jacksonville defense for eight seasons before spending two-years with the Oakland Raiders.

Meanwhile, Henderson was the ninth overall pick in the 2020 draft. Expected to replace Jalen Ramsey, he flashed early as a rookie but suffered a season-ending injury. The former Florida Gator quickly fell out of grace and was traded to the Carolina Panthers three games into the 2021 regular season.

Henderson then spent time with the Hoston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it's fair, at this stage of his career, that he failed to live up to expectations.

Circling back to Gruden, he's no young bird, so confusing C.J. and John Henderson might've simply been a case of being a boomer.
