The Jacksonville Jaguars are in a position to completely overhaul the bones of their roster, as new head coach Liam Coen and general manager James Gladstone will likely be given the ability to take Trent Baalke's old plan for success and throw them in the trash.

While the Jaguars will need to invest some Top 100 picks in skill position players that could help Trevor Lawrence get back to his old self, the defense is likely the bigger area of need in terms of talent. Defensive coordinator Anthony Campinale needs more to work with.

The Jaguars should take care to eventually get some new receivers for Lawrence, but they might be able to build a winning team by following the plan of attack in this 3-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

Jacksonville Jaguars 3-round NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 5: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

The Jaguars may be in a position to just take the best player available at this point in the draft, and that would certainly be Graham. A Jacksonville defensive line in need of a standout tackle to take it from good to great, may need to invest a high pick in Graham with the goal of using his run-stuffing abilities right away.

Graham's upside as a pass rusher should take flight in a Jacksonville defense that will be more than willing to give him the majority of snaps during their rookie season. Graham has the potential to compete for Pro Bowls right away despite some people being a bit worried about his overall arm length.

Round 2, Pick 36: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

Burden is a very weird prospect, as the former top recruit may slide out of the first round due to concerns about how much of his production cam via manufactured touches like screens and slot fades. Even with those risks, Burden is too talented for the Jags to pass up at this point in the draft.

Burden is a dynamic athlete who can create with the ball in his hands, but he has also shown the precise route-running on shorter concepts that Coen would love to implement in his offense. Burden making it out of Round 1 would still be a mild surprise, and Jacksonville should take advantage.

Round 3, Pick 70: Kevin Winston Jr., SAF, Penn State

Winston is an enigma, as he only played in one full game this season due to an injury. Even with a major ailment in his past, Winston's 6-2 frame and thunderous hitting ability all suggest that he could be an immediate playmaker for a Jaguars team that lost Andre Cisco to the Jets in free agency.

Had Winston been fully healthy and replicated his 2023 season, there's a good chance that he could have ended up in the first round. Jacksonville's secondary is so bereft of talent that they need to swing big on a defensive back with potential, which should help Winston find a professional home.

Round 3, Pick 88: Zy Alexander, CB, LSU

Alexander has been sliding down draft boards for a bit, but any team that likes long-limbed cornerbacks that can get aggressive at the line of scrimmage will take a look at him near the end of Day 2. The Jaguars have Tyson Campbell locked in, but the rest of the cornerback room is wholly subpar at the moment.

Alexander may not be the best tackler in the world, but Jacksonville will likely put up with that if they get secluded by his ability to lock down receivers on the outside. By his second year, Alexander might be able to hold down a starting role.
