Jaguars social media team digs hilarious pictures of Cam Little & Trevor Lawrence
It's fair to say that everyone has pictures of themselves that aren't particularly flattering, and the Jacksonville Jaguars did their best to unveil old snaps of some of their players. Kicker Cam Little most definitely takes the cake. That said, Trevor Lawrence gave him a run for his money.
Little was presented with a picture of him wearing a skirt at Arkansas. He says he originally wanted to wear a skirt for the snap but didn't because it was too small. The Jags social media team proceeds to tell him that he was indeed wearing a skirt. Here's the clip.
After Little, Trevor Lawrence is shown with a picture of him holding a gun that's made the rounds on social media for a while. He points out that is a fake, but still finds it funny.
Defensive end Josh Hines-Allen is next. He's posing in front of a car, "I was swaggy, I had the Rolex, 40 carat. These are Amiri sweatpants."
Trevor Lawrence and Josh Hines-Allen are two of the most prominent players on the Jaguars. On the other hand, Cam Little is quickly establishing himself as a staple on special teams. After beating Riley Patterson for the kicker job in training camp, the former Arkansas product has wasted no time showing why Jacksonville invested a draft pick on him, completing 91.7 percent of his attempts and going 2-of-2 in field goals from 50 yards out.
Moreover, Little has become a fan favorite with his endearing behavior. Back in the preseason, long snapper Ross Matiscik gave him a friendship bracelet for his 21st birthday and proudly displayed it after the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Jaguars seem to be in a good space amid the 2-5 record
Even though the Jacksonville Jaguars aren't doing as great as they expected before the season started, the mood in the locker room seems to be good. This is noteworthy because you would the morale to be low after reports surfaced that head coach Doug Pederson had lost the locker room. That doesn't appear to be the case, at least from an outside perspective, and that's a good thing.
The Jags are 2-5 and will need players to rally behind Pederson if they want to have a shot at steering the ship in the right direction. Fortunately for them, they have a few things in their favor.
Chatter about the head coach being on the hot seat has dwindled after winning two of their last three games. Also, the offense is clicking after a rough start to the season. Last but not least, the Jaguars are getting a couple of key veterans back in Foyesade Oluokun and Andrew Wingard. Having said that, they'll have their work cut out.
Following the encouraging win against the New England Patriots, Jacksonville has four playoff-bound teams in its slate: The Green Bay Packers, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Detroit Lions. Then again, if the Jags play like they have in recent weeks, they'll have a shot. And if they win three of those four games, they could spurn momentum and potentially make a run at the postseason.
Safety Andrew Wingard recently said that he's not ready to give up just yet, noting that he'll show up to work and give his best. If the rest of the Jaguars follow suit, they'll have a chance to turn things around. It also helps that they have a positive vibe going in the locker room.
