The Jacksonville Jaguars did a great job of raising the roster ceiling in the NFL Draft. While some position groups could still use upgrades, the front office did a good job of addressing most needs. That said, the work wasn't over.
After the NFL Draft ended, teams rushed to sign as many players who didn't get drafted as possible. The Jags, for their part, announced that they've signed 20 on their official PR account on social media. Below is the full list:

It's not surprising to see the Jags sign so many free agents after the draft. After all, they were tied with the Minnesota Vikings for teams in the NFL with the most roster spots available.
Before the draft, the Jags used 59 roster spots. They came out of the draft with nine players for a total of 68 spots. Add the 20 undrafted free agent signings, and they still have room for a couple more additions to fill their 90-man roster.
What should the Jaguars expect from their 2025 undrafted free agent class?
With Trevor Lawrence firmly entrenched as the starter and Nick Mullens set to be the primary backup, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Seth Henigan. It's hard to see him earning a roster spot, but he is one of those players who could land in the practice squad. In fact, most of the 20 undrafted free agents the Jags signed will have an uphill battle to make the team. That said, the Jaguars have a good track record of finding hidden gems.
No undrafted free agents made the Jags' initial 53-man roster last year or 2021, but Elijah Cooks did in 2023, defensive tackle De'Shaan Dixon and defensive back Josh Thompson the year prior, running back James Robinson in 2020, and safety Andrew Wingard all the way back in 2019. On top of that, wide receiver Tim Jones went undrafted in 2021 but made the team the following year after spending his rookie season in the Jacksonville practice squad.
It's important to point out that there's a new regime in place, so everyone will get a clean slate. That may allow one or two undrafted free agents to sneak onto the initial 53-man roster.
