The Jacksonville Jaguars entered the 2026 NFL Draft with 11 selections and came out with 10 players. Now that the dust has settled, it's time to see how the roster will look next season

While it's hard to picture the 10 rookies making the initial 53-man roster, most of them will compete for a clear role. A couple of them could even end up being Day 1 starters.

With this in mind, here's a post-NFL Draft 53-man projection of the Jaguars roster for the 2026 season.

Jaguars 53-man roster after the 2026 NFL Draft: Offense (24 players)

Jaguars quarterbacks (2): Trevor Lawrence, Nick Mullens

The Jaguars signed undrafted free agent Joey Aguilar after Day 3 ended. He'll compete with Carter Bradley for the No. 3 job, but the Jaguars will probably carry just two signal-callers in the regular season. Trevor Lawrence is the unquestioned starter, and Nick Mullens is the backup.

Jaguars running backs (4): Bhayshul Tuten, Chris Rodriguez, LeQuint Allen Jr., DeeJay Dallas

The Jaguars didn't use a single draft pick at running back, showing they're confident in their current group. Bhayshul Tuten is ready to take on the No. 1 role, but also expects heavy doses of Chris Rodriguez. LeQuint Allen Jr. will see the field as a blocker, and DeeJay Dallas will provide depth.

Jaguars receivers (5): Travis Hunter, Jakobi Meyers, Josh Cameron, Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington

The Jaguars had a well-rounded receiver corps before the draft; they just needed to add a No. 5, which they did when they picked Josh Cameron. The rookie out of Baylor should get ample opportunities when you take into account that Travis Hunter won't play offense nearly as much as he did last year.

CJ Williams may not make the team if the Jags keep four tight ends, which is a possibility when you take into account that they want to impose their will in the trenches.

Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington, and Brian Thomas Jr. give Trevor Lawrence an enticing trio of starting receivers to work with.

Jaguars tight ends (4): Quintin Morris, Brenton Strange, Nate Boerkircher, Tanner Koziol

The Jaguars only kept three tight ends in the initial 53-man roster last year but eventually added Quintin Morris when Brenton Strange missed time. Nobody will bat an eye if they carry four to start the season this time around.

But with Nate Boerkircher and Tanner Koziol, Hunter Long gets the boot.

Jaguars offensive linemen (9): Emmanuel Pregnon, Walker Little, Cole Van Lanen, Jonah Monheim, Wyatt Milum, Ezra Celveland, Robert Hainsey, Patrick Mekari, Anton Harrison

You want to have as much depth as possible in the trenches. Last year, the coaching staff had all their offensive lineman play different positions during the offseason program. It shouldn't be any different in 2026.

Emmanuel Pregnong and sophomore Wyatt Milum could vie for a starting job. Maybe center Jonah Monehim, too. It's also worth noting that Cole Van Lanen is recovering from a knee injury, possibly an ACL, so the team's brass may want to hold on to Walker Little next season.

Jaguars 53-man roster after the 2026 NFL Draft: Defense (26 players)

Jaguars pass rushers (6): Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker, Danny Striggow, B.J. Green II, Wesley Williams, Zach Durfee

The Jaguars needed to add reinforcements to the pass rush. They waited until Day 3 of the draft but came out with Wesley Williams and Zach Durfee. Expect them to push sophomores Danny Striggow and B.J. Green II for playing time.

Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen are entrenched as the starters.

Jaguars defensive tackles (5) Ruke Orhorhoro, Albert Regis, Arik Armstead, DaVon Hamilton, Matt Dickerson

This is one of Jacksonville's units that will experience the most turnover next season. Maason Smith is gone, after James Gladstone shipped him to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for Ruke Orhorhoro. Albert Regis is also a new addition. He'll join veterans Arik Armstead, DaVon Hamilton, and Matt Dickerson.

The Jaguars must believe that the addition of Orhorhoro and Regis is enough to solidify the interior defensive line.

Jaguars linebackers (6), Jalen McLeod, Ventrell Miller, Preston Hodges, Foyesade Oluokun, Jack Kiser, Dennis Gardeck

The Jaguars have plenty of flexibility at linebacker. Last year, Dennis Gardeck was heavily used as a pass rusher. Jalen McLeod could see the field in a similar role. The same is true for Preston Hodges.

Also, Ventrell Miller may not face direct competition to replace Devin Lloyd, after Jacksonville opted not to take a linebacker in the early rounds of the draft.

Jaguars cornerbacks (4): Montaric Brown, Jarrian Jones, Jourdan Lewis, Preston Hodge

At first, four cornerbacks seems too low, but keep in mind that Travis Hunter will play full-time defense but only counts as one roster spot. Montaric Brown will play opposite him in the boundaries, while Jarrian Jones and Jourdan Lewis mostly line up in the slot.

Preston Hodge has a chance to make the team as an undrafted free agent when you take into account that the Jags didn't add a corner in the draft.

Jaguars safeties (5): Antonio Johnson, Caleb Ransaw, Rayuan Lane III, Eric Murray, Jalen Huskey

The Jaguars already had a a talented group of safeties, but didn't waste the chance to acquire Jalen Huskey in the draft.

This will be a position to watch in training camp, as Antonio Johnson, Rayuan Lane, Eric Murray, and Huskey could compete for the two starting jobs.
