The Jacksonville Jaguars will welcome the Los Angeles Chargers at EverBank Stadium in Week 11. The last time these two AFC teams faced off against each other, the Jags came from behind to make the biggest comeback in team history in the Wild Card Round of the 2022 playoffs. All things considered, that was arguably their most meaningful win in recent years. But that was more than nearly three years ago.

Since then, Jacksonville hasn't returned to the postseason, and Doug Pederson, the head coach who led that amazing turnaround in 2022, was ousted earlier this year. To replace him, the Jaguars hired Liam Coen.

So far, Coen has done a good job of steering the ship in the right direction and leading a cultural shift. However, he'll face a pivotal moment of his stint as a head coach when the 5-4 Jags play Los Angeles. One win, and they'll still have a chance to make the playoffs, but a loss will decrease their odds significantly. One thing Jacksonville has going in its favor is that the weather won't be an issue in Week 11.

The Jaguars and Chargers will benefit from a perfect weather forecast

Per NFLWeather, it will be 78 degrees Fahrenheit with 13 MPH winds when the Jaguars face off against the Chargers in Week 11. On top of that, there will be a 13 percent chance of precipitation, meaning that it probably won't rain.

When you add it all up, these two clubs won't have to worry about the weather and will be able to sling the pigskin. This is great news for Trevor Lawrence, who's coming off a game in which he had trouble moving the ball against a stout Texans defense.

The Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence must take advantage of the weather

In the meltdown against the Texans, Trevor Lawrence completed 56.5 percent of his throws for 158 yards with one touchdown and one interception. While his numbers don't pop off the stat sheet, they would most definitely look better if penalties hadn't nullified his touchdown pass to Jakobi Meyers and the completion that would've put Cam Little in a position to make the game-winning field goal.

Circling back to the Chargers game, Lawrence will have Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers. However, Brian Thomas Jr. is questionable, so there's a chance to play. Either way, No. 16 should have enough firepower to move the football and put points on the scoreboard. Of course, it won't be a walk in the park.

Los Angeles defense ranks eighth in points allowed and fourth in points allowed. For the Jags to be able to keep drives alive, the offensive line will have to do its job, something it's failed to do in recent weeks.

Ultimately, the weather won't be an issue, but it will be up to the Jaguars to take advantage of it,
