The Jacksonville Jaguars will need to decide what to do with left tackle Walker Little in the offseason. The best course of action may be to trade him and make Cole Van Lanen Trevor Lawrence's blindside protector full-time. That said, the rest of the offensive line played well in 2025.
Sure, it wasn't an elite group, but it did its best to keep Lawrence protected and open lanes for the running back. Thus, it's fair to assume that the team's brass will make an effort to have continuity upfront. So aside from Little, don't expect many tweaks in the offensive trenches.
In fact, nobody will bat an eye if the Jags make a decision to ensure that a fixture on the offensive line stays beyond 2026.
The Jaguars must decide what to do with Anton Harrison
Right guard Patrick Mekari, Left tackle Cole Van Lanen, and center Robert Hainsey are signed at least through 2027. Left guard Ezra Cleveland, on the other hand, is entering a contract season. However, Jacksonville may let him leave and find his potential replacement in this year's draft or next. This is a long-winded way to say that the front office can afford to cut ties with him. The one hog molly the Jags need to worry about is Anton Harrison.
A first-round pick in 2023, Harrison is entering his fourth NFL season, and Jacksonville will need to decide whether to pick his fifth-year option or not. That would keep him from leaving until 2028. Of course, it would only make sense if the former Oklahoma Sooner has done enough to stick around. The answer is yes, he's earned it.

Picking up Anton Harrison's option is a no-brainer for the Jaguars
There are four different tiers for the fifth-year option: Basic, Playing time, Pro Bowl, and multiple Pro Bowls. Anton Harrison has not made the Pro Bowl through his career but has crossed the threshold for playing time. Each of the past three seasons, he's tallied at least 96 percent or more of the Jaguars' total snaps on offense.
For the Playtime tier, the option is calculated from the average of the third to the 20th highest salaries at the position over the past five seasons. And for players to qualify, they must meet one of three criteria: Average 75 percent of the snaps at their position or more the past three seasons, play 75 percent of the snaps in two of the past three years, or 50 percent or greater all three seasons.
Harrison's option will be $19.956 million, and exercising it should be a no-brainer. Marc Ross of NFL Media certainly believes so, noting that the Washington D.C. native showed notable improvement in 2025. Here's the skinny.
"Harrison's workmanlike approach has been evident in both his own improvement this season and the team's," Ross wrote. "The right tackle has allowed only one sack on 573 pass-blocking snaps in 2025, per PFF, which has no doubt been key to Trevor Lawrence's success. Jacksonville would be wise to reward Harrison for his dependable play."
Ross is right. Harrison flashed as a rookie but regressed in 2024. However, he bounced back last year, posting a Pro Football Focus overall grade of 72.9, the best of his career. Below is a clip of him setting the tone and showcasing his athleticism.

It hasn't even been one week since the Jaguars were eliminated from the playoffs, but they already have their work cut out for the offseason. That said, picking up Anton Harrison's rookie option should be one of the easiest decisions on their to-do list.
