After a couple of weeks of speculation, the NFL at least revealed when it will drop the schedule for next season. The Jacksonville Jaguars already knew who will be their opponents in 2026, but they'll find out the date for each matchup on May 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Jags tend to be creative with their schedule announcement, and this year should be no different. With this in mind, here's everything we know about the May 14 release so far.

Jacksonville Jaguars 2026 Opponents

The Jaguars will have a tough slate of games in 2026, filled with teams that made the playoffs last year.

Home opponents

  • Patriots
  • Texans
  • Colts
  • Commanders
  • Eagles
  • Titans
  • Browns
  • Steelers

Away opponents

  • Bears
  • Colts
  • Texans
  • Titans
  • Giants
  • Broncos
  • Bengals
  • Ravens
  • Cowboys

On a related note, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Jacksonville protected its home game against the Steelers, so there's a 100 percent certainty it will be at EverBank Stadium and not England.

It's also worth noting that the Jags will most likely face Aaron Rodgers when they play Pittsburgh. He's yet to sign, but it seems like it's a matter of time before he does.

Chicago, Baltimore, Denver, Houston, the Patriots, the Steelers, and Philadelphia made the playoffs last year. The Colts also were in contention but came up short, while the Commanders reached the NFC Championship in 2024, so Jacksonville cannot afford to take them lightly.

Based on their 2026 opponents, the Jags have the 11th-easiest schedule next season. Of course, that won't matter if they cannot take advantage of it. On the other hand, the strength of schedule only takes into account last year's record and not every team's additions in free agency and the draft.

This means that Jacksonville's schedule could end up easier (or tougher).

Jacksonville Jaguars 2026 Schedule Rumors

International Game vs. the Texans?

So far, there's been only one leaked rumor, and that's that the Jaguars will face Houston at Wembley in Week 6, as part of their two-game trip in London. @NerdingonNFL first shared the scoop, and he has a good track record of sharing schedule leaks.

Last year, the Jags split the series. They came close to sweeping the Texans, but suffered a meltdown in their second matchup and ended up losing. These two AFC South division foes already faced off in London back in 2029, and Houston won 26-3.
