The Jacksonville Jaguars have spent months preparing for the 2026 NFL Draft. They'll be looking to fortify a roster that's already loaded with lots of talent at nearly every position group. That said, they could use a handful of game-changers if they want to pick up where they left off last year.

The issue is that the Jags included their first-round pick in 2026 as part of the package to trade up for two-way star Travis Hunter last year. That means that their first pick will come until No. 56 on Day 2.

On the other hand, Jacksonville has 11 draft picks at its disposal. That should be more than enough to either make a few deals throughout the draft and address the larger scale roster.

With this in mind, here's everything you need to know about the Jaguars ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Best draft targets

Jacob Rodriguez, linebacker, Texas Tech

The Jaguars need to replace Devin Lloyd after he bolted for the Carolina Panthers. Ventrell Miller is in the mix and will get a chance to compete for the starting job next to Foyesade Oluokun. That said, nobody would bat an eye if Jacksonville brings someone else to compete with Miller.

Jacob Rodriguez isn't overly athletic but is always in a position to make plays nobody else can. He excels at stymying the run and could make an impact right off the bat.

Jadarian Price, running back, Notre Dame

Although Travis Etienne signed with the New Orleans Saints in free agency, the Jags have a well-rounded running back room. With Bhayshul Tuten, Chris Rodriguez, LeQuint Allen Jr., and DeeJay Dallas, the Jags don't need to invest a draft pick at the position, but they could definitely use one if they think they can get a playmaker. This is why the report that Jacksonville could trade up for Jadarian Price if he slides to Round 2 isn't that far-fetched.

Price lacks power and needs to expand his route-tree. Having said that, he possesses superb lateral agility and can thrive in any scheme. On top of that, his ability to cut and read his blocks allows him to make plays.

Chase Bisontis, offensive tackle, Texas Tech A&M

The Jaguars did a good job of beefing up the ofensive line last year, but could make further additions in the 2026 draft. Chase Bisontis can play both offensive tackle and guard but may be better suited to line up inside at the NFL level.

Bisontis doesn't have great lateral speed and needs to hone his hand placement. However, he excels at paving holes in the running game and is a mauler as a pass protector. The former Aggie could come in and compete for a starting job somewhere across the offensive trenches.

Lee Hunter, defensive tackle Texas Tech

Lee Hunter may not be the most explosive defensive tackle. In fact, his dearth of athleticism is his biggest red flag. However, he showed some serious pass-rush potential at Texas Tech. With proper coaching the former Red Rider could become a key contributor in the Jacksonville defensive line.

The Jaguars don't need to bolster the interior defensive line early in the draft because they traded for Ruke Orhororo, but they won't hesitate to keep bolstering the trenches if they can.

Derrick Moore, edge rusher, Michigan

The Jaguars have bookend pass rushers in Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen but need a No. 3 to round out their rotation. Sophomores Danny Striggow and B.J. Green could eventually take on that role, but Jackosnville could also add another player to the group.

Derrick Moore doesn't have a great get-off but has lot of power and knows how to use his hands to get after the quarterback. Moreover, he's the kind of player that will try to make plays until the whistle is blown. The Jags would love to have that kind of effort.

What the experts are saying

Dane Brugler, The Athletic

  • Round 2, pick 56: Gennings Dunker, Iowa offensive lineman
  • Round 3, pick 81: Jaishawn Barham, Michigan edge rusher

After trading for Ruker Orhorhoro one week before the draft, the Jags address the interior offensive line and the pass rush in Dane Brugler's mock at The Athletic.

Jordan Reid, ESPN

  • Round 2, pick 56: Anthony Hill Jr., Texas linebacker
  • Round 3, pick 81: Tyler Onyedim, Texas A&M defensive tackle

This wouldn't be a bad haul, as the Jaguars would further solidify two already strong groups.
