The Jacksonville Jaguars were dealing with a handful of injuries after the loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7, so their BYE couldn't have come at a better time. Now, they're healthy and ready to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9.

In his first media availability session after the BYE, Liam Coen talked about the much-needed break players got, noting that they had the opportunity to have a physical and mental break.

"Yeah, it's huge," Coen responded when asked how important the BYE was (1:11 mark). "We obviously had some guys a little nicked, and you go through some physical football games in the early part of the season, and so you need everybody needs a reset and an opportunity to get away from it, spend some quality time with family and friends, and have that nice little mental and physical reset to now come into the building with everything ahead of us."

With this in mind, here's a look at the initial injury report for Week 9.

The Jaguars listed on the Week 9 Injury Report vs. the Raiders

The Jaguars posted their Wednesday injury report and listed tight end Quintin Morris (groin), linebacker Devin Lloyd (calf), wide receiver Dyami Brown (shoulder), wide receiver Tim Patrick (groin), wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder), linebacker Dennis Gardeck (chest), and cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck) as limited. For, his part, safety Eric Murray did not practice.

Mia O'Brien of ESPN Radio posted on social media that Lloyd and Quintin Morris partook in Wednesday's practice after not making the trip to London. Similarly, she noted that Patrick, who also missed the Rams game, stretched with the team but did individual drills with trainers on the sidelines.

On the other hand, O'Brien pointed out that Murray missed practice with a neck injury. He's routinely popped up on the injury report in past weeks but hasn't missed extended time this season. Meanwhile, Brown, Gardeck, and Lewis wore pinnies Wednesday.

Below is a clip that Jamal St. Cyr of News4Jax posted of Brown and Brian Thomas Jr. wearing non-contact jerseys.

The Jaguars will get a massive boost on defense with Devin Lloyd in the fold

Before Devin Lloyd missed the London bout, he was, without a doubt, the best player on the Jaguars defense. In six games, he logged four interceptions, including one that he took to the house, and a fumble recovery.

The defense missed the former Utah Ute's big-play capability in the losses to the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams, so having him back for Week 9 will be huge.

The Jaguars are a three-point favorite for the Raiders game, and having Devin Lloyd back in the fold will only increase their chances of coming out on top.
