After months of preparation, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be able to put their work to the test when they face off against the New Orleans Saints in Week 1 of the preseason. Already, these interconference foes have held a joint practice, which the Jags used to give their starters valuable reps.
Speaking of the starters, Liam Coen said that they won't suit up for the opener, so you won't see Trevor Lawrence unless he's on the sidelines wearing a cap. On the other hand, several backups will get ample playing time in the game against the Saints as they try to earn a role or solidify their odds of making the 53-man roster.
