The Jacksonville Jaguars weren't particularly active in free agency, mostly focusing on re-signing their own players. The only external free agent they signed was running back Chris Rodriguez, but that was by design.

Leaving aside that the Jags didn't have much cap space to work with, the team's brass didn't go on a spending spree in agency because it wants to address the larger scale roster in the NFL Draft, and understandably so. With 11 selections, three in the third round, Jacksonville should have no trouble taking care of its most glaring needs and add depth at key positions.

The Jaguars will have no shortage of options in Round 2, but defensive tackle is arguably their biggest roster void. Thus, nobody will bat an eye if they attempt to bolster the interior defensive line. And if that's the path they take, Josh Edwards of CBS Sports just made an intriguing suggestion.

The Jaguars take Domonique Orange in Round 2 of CBS Sports' mock draft

Josh Edwards did a mock draft that included teams without a first-round pick and had the Jaguars picking Domonique Orange at No. 56, pointing out he's a fit in the interior defensive line.

"Jacksonville adds some mass to the defensive interior with the selection of 'Big Citrus,' a fitting addition for the team from Florida," Edwards wrote.

Despite being 6'5" and 322 pounds, Orange possesses surprising lateral quickness to plug gaps and stuff the run. On the other hand, he has a long way to go to develop into a viable interior pass rusher. Leaving aside that he only registered one sack through his collegiate career, his pass-rush win rate of 8.9 percent leaves much to be desired.

It's also worth noting taht Orange has routinely been projected to go in Round 3, so you could make the case that he would be a reach at No. 56. That said, mock draft don't always match team's big boards, and nobody would bat an eye if the Jags take him in the second round if they believe he's the best available option when they're on the clock.

Domonique Orange is one of many options for the Jaguars in Round 2

Most big boards have Christen Miller and Kayden McDonald rated higher than Domonique Orange. Then again, their odds of being still on the board when the Jags pick will probably be lower. If either one makes it to No. 56, they would probably be a better choice, but that doesn't mean that going with Orange would be bad. It's just that the Jags could address other needs in the second round and still land Orange with one of their three third-round picks.

For instance, Jacksonville could pick Auburn pass rusher Keyron Crawford at No. 56 and target Orange in the third round. Similarly, the Jags could target Texas Tech's Jacob Rodriguez or Anthony Hill Jr. in Round 2 to fill the void left by Devin Lloyd's departure in free agency.

Of course, the Jaguars could also throw a curveball and go in a direction nobody will expect in Round 2. But based on the moves they've made, it's almost a certainty that they'll go defensive tackle, and Domonique Orange will most definitely get consideration.
