With all the attention Trevor Lawrence and two-way star Travis Hunter have been getting in the offseason, it's easy to forget that the Jacksonville Jaguars have a budding star in sophomore Brian Thomas Jr.
In his first NFL season, Thomas logged 82 receptions for 1,282 yards with 10 touchdowns. His jaw-dropping numbers helped him finish fourth in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting and earn a Pro Bowl nod as an alternate.
But as impressive as the former LSU Tiger was as a rookie, he believes that the best is yet to come.

Brian Thomas Jr. vows to be even better for the Jaguars
One of the reasons Brian Thomas Jr. doesn't get the spotlight nearly as often as other receivers is that he lets his play do the talking for him. However, he's made it clear that he can be even better.
"I feel like I still left a lot out there on the table, and I know there's a higher ceiling for me," Thomas said ahead of the Carolina Panthers game in the season opener, via Juston W. Lewis of the Florida Times-Union. "I know what I can do and I can get accomplished. I just always push myself to be better and better each and every year."
Of course, Thomas will need to work on his rapport with Trevor Lawrence. The duo wasn't always in sync, something the fifth-quarterback acknowledged when he last met with the local media. On the other hand, he's pleased with the improvement they've both made thus far.
"It's just a testament to the amount of work that he's been putting in. And out here on the practice field, you guys have seen every practice. It's you guys have a good perspective of just the whole thing, "Lawrence told the press corps when asked whether he's seen the second-year receiver sharpen up ahead of the opener (17:24), "It's not every day is going to be clean and perfect, and just because, whether it's me, BT, Travis, the group up front, tight ends. Whatever it is."
"There's going to be days where you have stuff you gotta figure out, and there's a new system, there's new plays you're running. And so there's been some stuff that me and BT, have kind of had to iron out, but just through reps, whether that's after practice, in practice, in the film room, talking about every single look, I really think we've taken some huge steps, because we tried to do this last year."
"And obviously, there's a different system. I get hurt, so we didn't get a full year, and then, now it's a new system, and trying to build that chemistry and the rapport again, it's been awesome. I like where we're at right now, but it's about the whole season to get better."
As Lawrence noted, he missed a good chunk of the 2024 season, and Thomas had to catch passes from Mac Jones for nearly half a year. Nevertheless, his rookie campaign was a resounding success.
Now that Trevor Lawrence is back at center, and Brian Thomas Jr. has a year of experience under his belt, expect him to join the upper echelon of wide receivers in the NFL.
