Not only did the Jacksonville Jaguars suffer a meltdown against the Houston Texans, but they also lost a handful of key players to injuries. Things don't look great for a handful of them, but it seems like a few of them should be back for the Los Angeles Chargers game.

The Bolts are 7-3 and a three-point favorite in Week 11 despite the fact that the bout will be held at EverBank Stadium. Fortunately, reinforcements appear to be on the way.

The Jaguars get Parker Washington back, Brian Thomas Jr. practices

The Jaguars have a long injury report Thursday. The good news is that they have positive updates. After missing practice the day prior, Parker Washington (hamstring) was a limited participant. Similarly, Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle sprain) practiced for the second day in a row, so he has a chance to suit up against Los Angeles.

Apart from Thomas and Washington, linebacker Dennis Gardeck (chest), linebacker Jack Kiser (shoulder), left guard Ezra Cleveland (knee/ankle), tight end Brenton Strange (hip), cornerback Greg Newsome II (shoulder), right guard Patrick Mekari (knee), tigth end Hunter Long (hip/knee), and offensive guard Wyatt Milum (knee) got the limited designation.

Right guard Anton Harrison (knee/ankle), and cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck) remain out of practice.

The Jaguars will need to be ready for the Chargers with or without Parker Washington

If either Parker Washington or Brian Thomas Jr. sits out the Chargers game, the Jacksonville Jaguars will need to lean on Tim Jones and Austin Tremmell more than they would've liked. That said, offensive coordinator Grant Udinksi believes both of them have come through.

Udinksi met with the local media ahead of the Chargers game. He acknowledged that overcoming injuries presents a challenge, but Jacksonville has enough talent at receiver to make the adjustment.

"Yeah, there's certainly a challenge to it. And would love to have Travis back healthy, too. You lose him just right as he was starting to really hit his stride there in the LA game in London. But it's the challenge we all signed up for," Udinski said about the challenges of dealing with injuries (14:22 mark). "I think back to that moment at the end of the game where Tim Jones is running. Across the field against Vegas, and it makes that big catch, and it's a route that he never really got to practice with Trevor."

Udinski continued, "He had never thrown and caught that route with Trevor. He goes out there, Trammell in there, winning on that play. Tim Patrick is in there, winning on different routes where he hasn't got the opportunity to run those routes. So those guys are facing really a tremendous challenge to go out there and execute at the highest level against the best of the best of the best, without having the opportunity to practice to do some of those things."

"Now, it's our job to try to limit the amount of newness and try to make sure that what we put on their plate is stuff that they can go out and execute. But it's been a lot of fun to see them embrace the challenge, something we're going to have to continue to do as guys go in and out of the lineup. That's the nature of the beast. We knew going into the year. Very rarely do you make it throughout the year with all 11 starters playing every single snap of every single game for the whole year. So you know something that's going to come up."

And that's the thing. Regardless of who suits up, the Jaguars will need to be ready when the Chargers pay them a visit in Week 11.
