The Jacksonville Jaguars crushed the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8, easily defeating their dreaded AFC South foe 42-7. However, head coach Liam Coen and his team didn't have much time to enjoy the sweet taste of victory, as they began to prepare to face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football as soon as the game ended.

Even though the game will be at M&T Bank Stadium, the Jags are an 8.5-point road favorite not only because they're coming off a beatdown but also because they'll face an injury-marred Baltimore team that's down to its third-string quarterback, Joe Fagnano.

Granted, Jacksonville cannot just take a win for granted. After all, winning in the NFL is no small feat. Having said that, the Ravens are vulnerable and will give the Jaguars a favorable chance to earn their sixth W of the year. With this in mind, here are three bold predictions for Thursday Night.

3 bold Jaguars prediction vs. the Ravens on Thursday Night Football

Nate Boerkircher will reel in 2 TDs vs. the Ravens

Nate Boerkircher has done a good job of silencing his draft doubters, scoring his second career touchdown against Indy in Week 8. On top of that, he's a big reason Jacksonville has one of the best rushing games in the league.

The Texas A&M product has most definitely earned more targets moving forward, and he'll once again show out against the Ravens, reaching the end zone not once but twice.

With all the attention Brenton Strange (rightly) gets, Boerkircher will face several matchups. You can bet Trevor Lawrence will take advantage of them and test the inconsistent Baltimore secondary.

The Jaguars will pick Joe Fagnano off 4 times (one will be a pick-6)

While Trevor Lawrence will have a jaw-dropping performance that will solidify his spot in the MVP conversation, 2026 undrafted free agent Joe Fagnano will have his welcome to the NFL moment, throwing four picks, with one of them returned for a touchdown, on Thursday Night.

Sure, the Jags have previously struggled against backup quarterbacks (we're looking at you, Jake Browning), but they won't be caught off guard against Fagnano, who's dealing with injuries.

Chris Rodriguez will rush for 110 yards, 2 TDs

While the Jaguars are favored to win this Thursday Night game, they may have to play in the rain because the chance of precipitation is 59 percent. When you factor in that Bhayshul Tuten may not suit up, Chris Rodriguez could have a big workload.

Whether it rains or not, though, expect Jacksonville to lean on Rodriguez heavily. In a limited role this season, Liam Coen's protege has toted the rock 45 times for 209 yards (an average of 4.6 yards per carry), with three touchdowns. He broke off a 28-yard touchdown run against the Colts.

Rodriguez will score two touchdowns against the Ravens and cross the 100-yard mark for the first time in his Jaguars tenure.
