The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4 and have several incentives to come out on top. For starters, a win against Cincy will give them a leg up and a potential tie-breaker in the playoff race. Moreover, they can widen the lead in the AFC South. But if that wasn't enough, Trevor Lawrence will be able to say that he's beaten every team in the conference.
Of course, Jacksonville can't start uncorking the champagne just yet. The Bengals are coming off a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they've also won two games this season. Both their offense and their defense could give the Jaguars fits, which is why Lawrence has made it clear that the team's focus is on preparing and being ready for Week 4.
Working in the Jags' favor is that their offense is firing on all cylinders, while their defense is the best in the NFL ahead of Week 4. Simply put, they should feel good about their odds of leaving Paycor Stadium with their third win of the season. And with this in mind, here are five predictions for the Bengals game.
5 bold Jaguars predictions vs. the Bengals in Week 4
Travis Hunter make another goal-line stand, picking off Joe Burrow in the end zone
After a somewhat slow start to the 2026 season, Travis Hunter saw an uptick in playing time in Week 3 and made the most of it, picking off Drake Maye in the end zone.
Against the Bengals, Hunter will make yet another goal-line stand. This time, he'll intercept Joe Burrow while also hauling in four receptions for 50 yards on offense.
The Jaguars wanted to ease Hunter into action, understandably, after he suffered a season-ending injury in 2025. They're about to unleash him on both sides of the ball against the Bengals.
Brian Thomas Jr. will bounce back, record his first 100-yard game of the season
Brian Thomas Jr. is coming off a game in which he barely played. His decreased role was mostly due to the fact that he had two costly drops in the loss to the Denver Broncos. But despite failing to rise to the occasion, Thomas' teammates aren't giving up on him just yet, with Jakobi Meyers saying that he expects him to bounce back sooner rather than later.

Head coach Liam Coen, for his part, says that he expects Thomas to make plays for him, noting that he had a strong week ahead of the Cincinnati game.
The Bengals are dealing with several injuries in the secondary. That will give Jacksonville several favorable matchups. Thomas will remind everyone that he's a deep threat, reeling in six catches for over 100 yards with one touchdown.
Trevor Lawrence will throw 4 TDs, beat the Bengals for the 1st time in his career
Since he was drafted first overall in 2021, Trevor Lawrence has beaten all AFC teams but one: The Bengals. He's 0-4 against them but will have a golden chance to end his losing skid against Cincy in Week 4.
Thus far this season, Lawrence has completed 66.7 percent of his throws for 616 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions. The only reason his numbers aren't better is that he's been pulled in the fourth quarter twice.
Had No. 16 stayed on the field, he would be discussed as a serious MVP candidate, which is precisely what will happen once he drops four touchdowns in Week 4.
