Speculation ramped up the 48 hours prior to the official announcement, but it's finally here. The NFL just released its full schedule for the 2025 season. Here's the full list of opponents and dates for the Jacksonville Jaguars next season.
Before the full list, make sure you check the whole thread of memes the team's official social media account posted on Twitter, where it portrays every opponent as popcorn. The Colts one is arguably the funniest one, but you be the judge. With that out of the way, here's the full 17-game slate for the 2025 season.
Jaguars full 17-game schedule for the 2025 season:
- Week 1 vs. Carolina Panthers
- Week 2 @ Cincinnati Bengals
- Week 3 vs. Houston Texans
- Week 4 @ San Francisco 49ers
- Week 5 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (prime time)
- Week 6 vs. Seattle Seahawks
- Week 7 vs. Los Angeles Rams (although it's a game in London)
- Week 8 - BYE
- Week 9 @ Las Vegas Raiders
- Week 10 @ Houston Texans
- Week 11 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
- Week 12 @ Arizona Cardinals
- Week 13 @ Tennessee Titans
- Week 14 vs. Indianapolis Colts
- Week 15 vs. New York Jets
- Week 16 @ Denver Broncos
- Week 17 @ Indianapolis Colts
- Week 18 vs. Tennessee Titans
What stands out about the Jaguars 2025 NFL Schedule?
Surprisingly, the Jaguars didn't get game on Thursday Night Football as they often do. On the other hand, it's great to see that they got a prime time bout against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Before the official release, the only game that was announced that wasn't a leak was the London matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. That said, some trustworthy leads began to pop. For instance, the gauntlet the Jacksonville Jaguars will face early in the season against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Houston Texans, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Kansas City Chiefs from Weeks 2 to 5.
Surprisingly, that's not the only slate of games Jacksonville will have in 2025. After their BYE week, four of their next matchups will be as visitors. Speaking of their week off, it came early in the season, and right after their trip to London, something that never happened during the Doug Pederson era.
With Pederson leading the way, the Jaguars would get their BYE late in the season, because it would allow them to recover from injuries and get a second wind. Then again, that became moot the past two years, Jacksonville wasn't very good, so it didn't really matter. But that was then, and this is now.
There's a new regime in place, one that's made upgrades to the roster and is building around Trevor Lawrence. Moreover, they now have Travis Hunter, which will allow them to get the spotlight. While it's hard to tell what their final record will be, you can bet that the Jaguars will be fun to watch again, which didn't happen often last year.
