In the last week or so, we’ve seen some major things happen in the NFL and we are just getting started. These are all things that need to be noted by the Jacksonville Jaguars otherwise they are going to be left behind.

Derek Carr left the Las Vegas Raiders and went to the New Orleans Saints. Well, that is good because that is one less team coming into 2023 believing that they can win the AFC. The Jaguars want to make a lot of noise this year so seeing other teams weaken themselves is nice.

It doesn’t stop there. There might be another great AFC team that becomes worse as the Baltimore Ravens could lose out on Lamar Jackson. If he agrees to a deal negotiated with a new team and the Ravens choose not to match it, he is out.

There is a chance that an NFC team is the one that gets him which would obviously weaken the AFC. Again, that is nice for the Jaguars.

There is a lot of movement coming for the Jacksonville Jaguars to take note of.

One thing that could be an issue is the upcoming Aaron Rodgers move. There is a chance that he retires and there is a chance that he stays with the NFC North’s Green Bay Packers. However, the big-time rumor is that the New York Jets want this guy badly.

New York sent multiple people to Green Bay to speak with Rodgers about his potential future playing for the Jets instead of the Packers. That would obviously strengthen the AFC by a lot.

With the Jets and Buffalo Bills in the same division, they could have some amazing battles that lower each of their prowess knowing they have to play each other a lot. With the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins in there as well, it is a good division.

He’d join a conference that has Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, possibly Lamar Jackson, and of course Trevor Lawrence. We can only hope that Lawrence keeps up with all of that talent that he’ll be competing against.

The Jaguars can’t just be happy with their 1 division title and a playoff win. They need to keep making noise as well to keep up with this gauntlet of a conference.

2023 is going to be loaded with lots of must-see matchups that should excite everyone. It is nice that the Jaguars are going to be a huge part of it in terms of being a winning team part of the big matchups.
