3 WRs for the Jacksonville Jaguars to acquire via a trade right now
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team trying to take advantage of this quarterback that they drafted with the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Trevor Lawrence is someone that they are hoping can lead them to their first-ever Super Bowl title.
In order to take advantage of this quarterback that very much could be a generational talent, they need to get him as much help as possible.
One way to make sure that he is always comfortable is to make sure that he always has good receivers. The core there in Jacksonville right now is very solid but they can always improve.
There could be some really good receivers out there on the trade market this off-season and the Jaguars should be in on all of them if they do actually become available. These are three really good ones for them to think about (if they are in fact on the block):
Davante Adams would look incredible in Jacksonville Jaguars’ colors.
Davante Adams has been one of the best receivers in the National Football League for the last handful of years. Obviously, it was nice for him to play with Aaron Rodgers every year before the 2022-23 season but there is no doubt that he is elite even without him.
Coming to Jacksonville would allow him to play with another great quarterback in Lawrence. He is so good that he can help Trevor take this offense to the next level.
The chemistry that these two could come up with as Lawrence improves could lead them very far. It would become one of the top QB-WR combos in the league.
With Derek Carr leaving the Las Vegas Raiders, it is assumed that they might be selling off some more players one year after acquiring Adams from the Green Bay Packers. Trading him away now could really help them get some assets back for the future as they seem to be retooling.
