The Jacksonville Jaguars need to reload their roster this offseason. However, they won’t have much cap space at their disposal in free agency, so they’ll need to hit on as many draft picks as possible if they want to avoid regressing next season.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl and the practices preceding the game gave the Jags and other teams the chance to evaluate prospects ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft. Here are five who should be on their radar following a productive week in Mobile, Alabama.

No. 5 Senior Bowl standout for Jacksonville Jaguars: Michael Wilson

The Jaguars will have a talented trio of wide receivers in Christian Kirk, Zay Jones, and Calvin Ridley, who should be reinstated from a suspension he’s currently serving for betting on football games back in 2021. However, the depth behind them isn’t optimal, so it would be a good idea to invest a middle or late-round draft pick in the position.

Stanford wide receiver Michael Wilson is one of the many prospects that saw his draft stock rose following a productive Senior Bowl weekend. The former Cardinal was responsible for one of the most exciting plays in the game, a 44-yard grab for a touchdown.

Wilson was limited to just 14 games over the last three seasons due to injury but made the most of his opportunity in the Senior Bowl. Former Jaguars tight end and current NFL analyst Clay Harbor believes he could be a mid-round steal. If he’s available at that point of the draft, the team’s brass should strongly consider taking a flyer on him.
