If you have told someone right after the Jacksonville Jaguars’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9 that both teams would face each other for a rematch in the Divisional Round of the 2022 NFL Playoffs, you would have most likely gotten a black stare but that’s precisely what’s going to happen.

Even though the Jags are a nine-point underdog and the game will be held at Arrowhead Stadium, which is known for how loud it is, they have a shot at pulling the upset. They’ll need to get off to a hot start and the defense will have to do their best to contain tight end Travis Kelce.

Sure, it’s a tall order but doable and Jacksonville has proven throughout the season that they won’t give up without a fight. Because you should always shoot for the moon, here are five bold predictions for the matchup.

5. Two Jaguars players will log 100+ receiving yards vs. the Chiefs

Wide receiver Christian Kirk, who signed with the Jags in free agency, made an impact from the get-go, catching 18 receptions for 267 receptions with three touchdowns in the first three games of the season. On the other hand, it took wide receiver Zay Jones and tight end Evan Engram a bit to hit their stride but once they did, they both became key pieces in the Jacksonville offensive puzzle.

While Kirk is the Jaguars’ top receiver, both Jones and Engram have come through at different points of the season. Even if the weather conditions aren’t optional (rain and snow are expected), Trevor Lawrence will try to get the ball to his playmakers, which should lead to a 100-yard game for Kirk and either Engram or Jones.
