The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off a 27-point comeback against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs, but now they have an even bigger hill to climb in the Divisional Round when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

It’s a tall order for any team to take on Patrick Mahomes, but I think the Jaguars defense is up to the task.

In fact, I think betting on the UNDER on Mahomes’ passing yards total is a great bet to place this week.

Bet the UNDER on Patrick Mahomes passing total

Mahomes passing yards total is set at 310.5 and I’m going to take the UNDER.

First of all, this is a high total for any quarterback to have. Mahomes is averaging 308.5 passing yards per game this season, and he has averaged 307 passing yards per game in the postseason throughout his career. Both figures are a touch below his set total for Saturday afternoon.

Not only that, but the Jaguars defense has been playing the best it has played all season. Over their last three games, they’re allowing only 5.3 yards per pass attempt, which is the best mark in the NFL over that stretch.

Even last week, against the Chargers, Jacksonville kept Justin Herbert to averaging only 5.9 yards per pass attempt and 273 total yards.

If you’re like me and you believe in the Jaguars defense this week, I recommend betting the UNDER on Mahomes passing yards.
